Hi guys,

So about me quickly.

Im 22, live in Sydney, started my first online business when i was 19. I sold findatraveller.com back to my parents in late 2006. Since then i formulated a new business plan that revolved around the online backpacker space. gunnago.com is currently in a beta testing phase and should be rolled out live within the next few months.

Recently i have been hired as base backpackers group’s social media strategist. I am building their brand with a facebook centric strategy at the moment and will keep you posted with how its progressing.

So, from here…i created this blog to use as a sound board, mostly to get a feeling for what people think of my ideas surrounding the social media space.

I will start posting once a day from today for one month, i regularly check techcrunch and valleywag to get an idea of whats happening in the space in the US so be prepared for a few articles in that area too.

Jeeez, lets c how this goes, i’ll be posting my first proper article tonight!
